About the Author:

As a head and neck surgical oncologist at Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center, Dr. Robert Lindau is passionate about serving his patients. It's why he loves working for Methodist. He says it's because Methodist believes in fostering the patient/provider relationship.

"Methodist is always looking for ways to improve upon itself and the quality of the care they deliver," said Dr. Lindau. "To me, The Meaning of Care means helping patients navigate through their cancer care and treatment, and informing them of everything that needs to happen and getting them through that difficult time and also being with them through the good times."

Dr. Lindau delivers The Meaning of Care every day at the Head and Neck Oncology Clinic at the Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center. He works hand-in-hand with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding care and treatment to patients.
