Both of Chef Nic Webster’s parents worked in the restaurant industry, sparking his passion for food. Nic was mentored at the Lincoln Country Club by a Sous chef specializing in banquet catering with a strong sushi influence. He followed his mentor to the Venue, an American fine dining restaurant, cooking and baking before opening MoMo, an Italian café featuring wood fired brick oven cooking.
As a chef at Methodist Hospital Café 8303, Nic regularly participates in pop-up kitchens with other chefs in the Lincoln culinary community. This chef and social media-driven direction has a strong influence on his career. During his time off, Nic has worked closely with master baker Markus Georg, at the Chinook Tavern in the Denver Tech area.
