About the Author:

Annette Dillon, APRN, is a firm believer is delivering tailor-made care to all patients. Realizing every person is unique, she recognizes the importance of spending time to understand each patient's individual needs. She also believes that quality care should not just be a one-time occurrence, but something that should be provided to every woman over her lifetime.

"I don't take The Meaning of Care lightly," said Annette. "It's in every day and every way you care for a patient. It's body, mind and spirit. If I can't provide that care, I find somebody who can. Because there's somebody in this health system or someone in our resources who can help that person."

Annette earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She was also the first nurse to be certified as a Menopause Practitioner by the North American Menopause Society. Today, Annette is a nurse practitioner dedicated to women's health at the Methodist Physicians Clinic Women's Center located at 192nd and Dodge.

In her free time, Annette enjoys tending to her garden. She loves flowers, and often draws inspiration from strolling through her neighborhood and observing other gardens. She is also an avid scrapbooker, capturing the special moments she and her family have created over the years.
