Nicole Winkler, MS, PLMHP, LADC, NCC, is a counselor at Best Care EAP. In her role, she provides short-term counseling to Methodist employees and their families. Her mission is to protect the community and provide comprehensive evaluations and support to professionals and employees with past or present issues related to alcohol or substance abuse.

“I’m inspired daily by my supportive co-workers, by the strength of my clients and by witnessing people not only committing to their lives but changing their lives,” Nicole said.

Nicole is also an adjunct instructor at Metropolitan Community College and a Junior League of Omaha member. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, watching Husker football (Go Big Red!), exercising and having dance parties with her daughters. Thrill seekers at heart, Nicole and her husband have been skydiving and scuba diving with sharks.
