"What I love the most about my job is meeting the patients and providers who allow me the privilege of sharing their stories. Every day, there are examples of care, compassion, adversity and medical miracles unfolding in our hospitals and clinics. It is such a privilege to be a small part of sharing them."

A native Nebraska farm girl, Katina worked as a writer and producer of local television news for 13 years before moving into her career in public relations. She has spent more than a decade in the health care industry.

Katina lives in Iowa with her husband Troy and their children. In the summer months, she enjoys spending vacation time at Table Rock Lake with family.
