Cardiothoracic surgeon Adam Kingston, MD, at Methodist Physicians Clinic Westroads Office Park, has a deep fascination with the technical aspect of surgery and an even stronger passion for creating meaningful relationships with patients that are built on trust.
“In many cases, this is a life or death situation,” he said of cardiothoracic surgery. “And you need to have somebody you can trust in your corner. Someone that’s going to go the extra mile to do what’s right for you.”
He’s humbled to be practicing in the community he grew up and honored to work for a health system that focuses on quality patient care.

An Omaha native, Dr. Kingston attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center after spending his undergraduate years at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He began his general surgery residency at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington and completed it at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Kingston completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles and worked at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon before returning home to join the Methodist family.
Dr. Kingston enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing sports and reading.
