About the Author:

Dr. Stuart Frigyes takes pride in the personal relationships he has with his patients.

“I know about their families. I know about their interests,” he said. “But even medically, without even opening their charts, I know each of them very well.”

Dr. Frigyes, an internist at Methodist Physicians Clinic Cass Street, returned to Methodist after practicing internal medicine at Think Whole Person Healthcare in Omaha for several years. What he loves most about his job is the challenge that each patient presents.

“Every patient is a little different. It’s not cookie-cutter,” he said. “That’s what I really like about medicine. You can’t really do this job with your eyes closed.”

He received his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at Loma Linda University’s affiliated hospitals in California and an internal medicine residency at Creighton University’s affiliated hospitals. He earned a bachelor’s degree in physiology from the University of California, Davis.

In his free time, Dr. Frigyes enjoys staying active. His hobbies include photography, travel, skiing, fishing, backpacking and automobiles.
