Scoring Big Points with the Power of Pink

Support for survivors

This Saturday, Jan. 27th, history will repeat itself… but in a very big way.

For the seventh straight year, Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center will co-sponsor the Creighton Bluejays “Creighton vs. Cancer Pink Out” at Omaha’s CenturyLink Center. It’s a commitment to raising awareness for breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

Choose pink

Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of family, friends and loved ones who are affected by not just breast cancer, but all cancers. At halftime, fans will be able to pay tribute to those lives touched by the devastating disease.

The first 16,000 fans to walk through the gates for Saturday’s game will receive a free pink t-shirt thanks to Methodist Estabrook Cancer Center and CHI Health.

Women’s game in February

The commitment to fighting breast cancer will repeat itself on Feb. 16th at D.J. Sokol Arena during the Creighton women’s basketball game. Another 1,000 shirts will be distributed during that game.
